Who is eligible to vote?

You can vote if you’re 18+, a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and enrolled at your current Hamilton address.

How do I enrol?

Enrol online at vote.nz or call 0800 36 76 56. Check your details are current before voting starts. Freetext your name and address to 3676. Download and complete this enrolment form and email it to enrol@vote.nz or post it to Electoral Commission, Freepost 2 Enrol, PO Box 190, Wellington 6140.

What is STV?

STV lets you rank candidates by preference. If your top choice is elected or eliminated, your vote moves to your next choice.
